Making the Holidays Bright with Team TLA: Part 2, Reflections

Dec 22, 2022 | Team TLA

As a people-centric business, we think the end of the year is an important time to reflect on all the accomplishments and successes of our team members—and there’s certainly been a lot!

It’s also an opportunity for us all to slow down and give thanks because there’s so much to be grateful for.

We asked Team TLA the same question. Keep scrolling to find out what fills them with gratitude and about their top moments of 2022!

Team TLA’s top moments and reflections on 2022

“We had an awesome team-building event this fall at a Squid Game-themed game box. Having not been able to have these in 2020 and 2021, it was really enjoyable to get out of work mode with the team and bond.”
— Evan, Operations Manager

“Having amazing clients & coworkers and moving successfully to Colorado.”
— Tony, Specification Sales

“I’m grateful for NASA’s launch of the James Webb Space Telescope because it’s amazing.”
— Carl, Controls Sales

“Holding my granddaughter for the 1st time.”
— Rob, Controls Manager

“One of my top moments of 2022 was working on Republic Plaza’s piazza lighting.”
— Jeff, Outside Sales

“It’s been a big year. Here are some highlights: 83 miles San Juan rafting trip (7 adults to 7 children), my first snowcat tour, our second brewery location opening, Stevie Nicks at Red Rocks, marrying my best friend surrounded by family in Grand Lake, then celebrating in Mexico with 25 of our best friends… and now looking forward to Christmas in Ireland. Life is full of valleys and peaks, and I would say it was a 14’er of a year!”
— Kristin, Specification Sales

“Being called “back up dad” by my girlfriend’s kids. Ha ha!”
— Jason, Distributor Sales

“The health of my family and friends.”
— Mark, Outside Sales

“Winning the Blazer Golf League in back-to-back years. No one has done that in the 30+ year history of the league.”
— Kenneth, Quotations

“Getting married and learning so many new skills in my new career.”
—Sydney, Customer Service Representative

“Becoming a board member for the Pikes Peak Radio Amateur Association (PPRAA)”
— Ken, Lighting Controls Specialist

“I am grateful for my close friends and family. Having a loving network of people around you lightens the heart and soul, and good times are even better!”
— Chris, Outside Sales

“Getting the family collector car on the road again.”
— Juliann, Customer Service

Thanks for an incredible year!

And that’s just the start of a very long list… on behalf of all of us at TLA, we’re so grateful for our community of clients, team members, manufacturers, and friends. Thank you for a year filled to the brim with bright moments.

Stay tuned for Part 3, where we’ll share what our team members are looking forward to in the New Year! And if you missed it, click back to Part 1, where Team TLA members share their favorite holiday traditions.
