Light Club is The Lighting Agency’s in-person event series for lighting professionals who want to network with the local lighting community, grow their knowledge, and see the latest products and lighting manufacturers all in one place (not to mention the great food, drinks, and prizes!)

We spoke to Dawn Webber, TLA Director of Marketing and Events, for a preview of what you can expect this year. Keep scrolling for the details.

New theme and rewards

Those of you who joined the club last year will notice that things look a little different in 2023! We asked Dawn to give us the inside scoop on this year’s theme:

“Light Club’s inaugural year was a bit of a litmus test to see what people were interested in as we all emerged from quarantine. A lot of what you love from Light Club’s original format is back, but streamlined and with more event features now that we have tested what worked, what didn’t, and what we feel confident enough to try out this year.”

And that means new Light Club SWAG, perks, and grand prizes for our members.

Location & exhibitors

This year, our events are happening at our (not-so) Secret Light Club Lounge in Denver’s RiNo Art District.

“Sourcing an event space for Light Club is one of the biggest challenges because we want to find a space that fits the format, is conveniently located, and has parking available,” Dawn said.

“Upper Larimer checked all the boxes, and the aesthetic of the fully-renovated, 135-year-old building has all of the original charm plus the modern amenities we needed. With lots of exposed brick and iron, we leaned into the London Social Club theme with the venue feeling a lot like everyone’s favorite after-hours spot that nobody is supposed to know about.”

How it works

This year, you can look forward to three unique events with fresh products, fun networking, and great food and drinks—save the dates for April 27, July 13, and September 28, and be sure to register early!

Unlike last year where giveaways were based on a points system, our giveaway items for 2023 are limited and only available at their respective event. No more points to track or extra tasks to do; we want you to focus on prioritizing coming out to each event.

Light Club rules are detailed on the website if you’re curious about how the prizes will work, but everyone who attends even once has a chance. The more you attend, the more entries you’ll earn, which will increase your chance to win one of 30 great prizes this year. Check out our event page for more details.
