Our team recently came together for a new tradition: Art Fisher Annual Celebrity Charity Memorial Mini Golf Pro-Am For People Who Can’t Golf Good And Who Wanna Support Other Good Stuff Too, or AFACCMMGPAFPWCGGAWWSOGST, for short.
The celebrities? TLA staff and their families, of course! We gathered at Puttshack in Denver’s RiNo neighborhood to connect over a lively mini-golf tournament to support our favorite local causes.
Players competed to win in three categories: top individual scores, top team scores, and best team name. The winners had the honor of choosing their favorite charity or nonprofit, for TLA to make a donation to on their behalf. At the end of the day, a total surpassing $5,000 went to support a range of causes.
“The competition was a blast, but the real highlight was connecting outside of work and the chance to see everyone’s families,” said Dawn Webber, Director of Marketing and Events.
We also seized the opportunity to wish our long-time colleague and friend Laura Mann farewell on her last day of work before retirement.
