Spitzer’s value-added services
Next up, let’s talk about Spitzer’s value-added services that are designed to enhance your next project!
1. Powder Coating
Powder Coating is a color-finishing technique where powder is applied with spray tools and heated to a chosen surface to form a color coat. Many types of powder used for this process exist, such as acrylic, polyester, epoxy, and polyurethane.
Powder coating achieves a thicker and more consistent finish than you can achieve with spray paint, and as the finish sets, the original properties of the polymer, acrylic or epoxy form a tight, thick, and shiny surface coat.
2. Wet Painting
Traditionally, industrial color coats have been achieved through the process known as wet painting, where paint is applied in aerosolized form through pump devices at high pressure.
In most applications, the paint is delivered via pneumatic-powered tools or machinery to achieve a consistent, even coat along a chosen surface. See the color chart above for available RAL color options.
3. Straight Round Steel Poles
Straight round steel poles are available in 3”, 4”, and 5” diameters with heights between 5’ and 30’. They are built from high-strength steel tubes and are available side drilled for arm-mounted area lighting luminaires or with optional tenon mounts for flood and post-top luminaires.
Typical area lighting applications include retail centers, industrial parks, schools and universities, public transit and airports, office buildings, and medical facilities.
4. Straight Square Steel Poles
Straight Square Steel Poles are an angular take on the steel poles. These are available in 3”, 4”, and 5” diameters with heights between 5’ and 30’.
