Hello there and welcome back, I’m David Carlsen Jones, Lighting Specification Sales with TLA. This is Part 2 of a 2-Part Series covering Architectural and Interior Lighting.

In today’s post, I’ve put together a collection of my top INTERIOR LIGHTING TRENDS FOR 2021:

  1. Fabrics
  2. Woods
  3. Brass
  4. Black and White
  5. Mixed Materials
  6. Indoors Meets Out

And for anyone just joining us, be sure to read Part I – Architectural Lighting Trendshere.

TREND 1: Fabrics

The use of fabrics as decorative lighting fixtures in an interior space continues to gain strength and appeal with specifiers.  A designer’s opportunity to add a splash of texture to a space that creates a real statement piece.

TREND 3: BRASS

Who would have thought that brass reentering the design industry more than a decade ago would still be something we’d be talking about and applying in our project designs today?  Brass is not just back, but it is here to stay.  Unique finishes coupled with innovative forms has helped this classic metal become a real go-to and mainstay, especially in the hospitality market.
