2021 Holiday Reflections with Jason, Shane, and Ryan

Dec 16, 2021 | News & Events, Team TLA

By TLA Staff

Each year as the holidays approach, our thoughts turn gratefully to the TLA community: clients, employees, manufacturers, and friends.

Thank you all for your support in 2021 and partnering with us to strengthen the bonds of our personal and professional relationships during these challenging times.

Though filled with uncertainty, these months have also been an exercise in trust, collaboration, creativity, and nimbleness as we all negotiate what life looks like in this constantly changing world and navigate the way forward for our business and professional ventures together.

With gratitude, loyalty, and anticipation

As we gathered to put pen to paper and draft this end of year message, three words came immediately to mind: gratitude, loyalty, and anticipation.

We feel immeasurable gratitude for everyone’s efforts to keep the communication lines open to foster growth, even in the face of unprecedented personal, professional, and supply chain disruptions.

Loyalty—this core company value was instilled by our founder Art Fisher and is reflected in our commitment to serving our clients, our manufacturers, and the TLA team.

And lastly, anticipation as we look forward to brighter days ahead while building on the lessons, plans, and successes from this challenging year.

Growth in 2021

Speaking of successes, we are so proud to share that not only did TLA maintain our pre-pandemic team roster, but we also actually grew our exceptional team! This big win would not have been possible without the initiative and leadership of our department managers. Our deepest appreciation goes out to all of them and everything they do.

“Everybody get in the boat and start rowing!”
– Art Fisher

As Art used to say when the waters got rough, “everybody get in the boat and start rowing!” Our managers not only got us all in the boat, but they keep us rowing in the same direction!

Thank you, managers, for helming your departments with integrity, dedication, and an eye to the future of our company.

Recognizing our clients & manufacturers

We’d also like to take this opportunity to thank our clients for allowing us to work with you, whether in person or virtually, to provide the personalized, focused support that your projects demand and deserve. The work that you do inspires us to strive higher and achieve more—every day.

And, to our manufacturers, we celebrate your commitment to bringing the best products to our clients despite the disruptions to all our businesses which have been further exacerbated by the global supply chain upheaval. You are truly innovators and industry leaders whom we are honored to call our partners and friends.

What’s next for TLA?

Looking forward to 2022 and beyond, Colorado is poised to boom and here at TLA we’re ready to level-up.

This year, under the direction of our Sales Coordinator Dawn Weber, we evolved the way that TLA interfaces with our lighting industry community through virtual seminars, an expanded AIA course offering, and digital marketing outreach.

Next year, we’re prepared to “flip the switch” again with a cool new concept for connecting our clients with the best products available, while cultivating relationships within the TLA professional network. More to come on this soon, and it’s going to be F-U-N!

We close with heart-felt wishes, from the TLA family to you and yours, for a happy, healthy, and safe holiday season. Cheers to a new year filled with love, light, and prosperity!

All our best,
Jason, Shane, and Ryan
